RIAD AIT BENHADDOU, Bed and Breakfast in Aït Ben Haddou
The village of Ait Ben Haddou is the most famous of the KASABAHs of the Ounila Valley. The KASBAH of Ait Ben Haddou is inspired by the architecture of southern Morocco. It is a group of collective dwellings inside defensive walls reinforced with towers and corners and pierced by a chicane door.
Many houses, some modest, others resembling small urban castles with their high corner towers decorated on the upper part with decorative motifs in raw brick. But also buildings and community spaces.
The Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou is an eminent example of the Kasbahs of southern Morocco, illustrating the main types of earthen constructions observed from the 17th century in the valleys of the Dra, Todgha, Dadès and Souss.
It is as enthusiasts of our village, our cultural and architectural heritage and the Moroccan art of living and welcoming that we decided to build this guest house called "Riad d'Ait BenHaddou" built in the form of a riad with a patio in the middle respecting tradition with towers recalling the architecture of kasbah using local materials.
In the heart of the village of Ait Ben haddou is located Riad ait benhaddou combines the charm of a traditional Moroccan house. It is about ten minutes walk from the KASBAH (KSAR AIT BENHADDOU). The location is ideal for discovering the village.
Riad Ait Benhaddou is a haven of peace and calm with a surface area of 610m2 housing 10 rooms and suites, each room is decorated with care. The luxury of the space allows to preserve the privacy of each of our guests. The restaurant room and terrace are used during the day according to the wishes of each. The solarium allows relaxation to also serve meals and drinks in front of the Atlas and the kasbah.
